Occupational Interest Profile - (OIP)

The Occupational Interest Profile (OIP) assesses an individual’s personal preferences for varying types of work. Whilst most people will have scores around the middle of each measure it is the high and low interests, which tell us most about how they differ from the 'average' person.

Primary Characteristics

Psychological appraisals assess individuals across 15 major personality areas.

Second Order Factors

To make it even easier, the 15 Primary Factors of personality can be consolidated into Five Second Order Factors.

Team Roles

The team roles measured by the 15FQ are based on the long established Belbin factors and are derived by responses to specific questions in the 15FQ questionnaire.

Leadership Styles

Based on the work of the American Organisational Psychologist Bass, the Leadership Styles describe a range of styles that a person is most likely to adopt.

Selling Styles

The Influencing Styles describe which of a range of styles a person is most likely to adopt. This may be of interest in relevance to a variety of situations where there is a requirement to influence others or sell a product, service or idea.
