Tips for Managers

When considering how to manage an individual, employers should recognise that all people are different and need to be managed individually.

While no one person will be all of one style or all of another, they will display a combination of the characteristics described in the following five Second Order Factors.

Managers can identify which Primary Factors of the 15FQ™ are considered when measuring each Second Order Factor. Information regarding what observed behaviour they can expect to see in each one, tips on how to Instruct, praise and criticise an individual who is classified under each description, are provided and the work situation they will most enjoy and the reactions to frustration each one will be likely to experience are outlined.

After reviewing the Second Order factor scores that have been determined on an individual, read the appropriate descriptions to understand how to treat people differently.
